For the second straight year, Safe & Sound Entertainment will be bringing their Hip Hop/R&B music festival to New Westminster, British Columbia. This year’s lineup includes Grammy nominated artist Anderson .Paak, emerging R&B artist Sabrina Claudio along with Goldlink and Vince Staples. There aren’t a lot of Hip Hop/R&B shows in Vancouver, so this is the perfect opportunity for music enthusiasts to check out some of their favorite artists all at once.
Although the two day event features major and local musicians, Safe & Sound is ensuring that it’s not just a musical festival as it will also have activities such as live painting, stand-up comedy and ping pong. There will also be food trucks that operate all day.
The event is set to take place August 24th and 25th at Westminster Pier Park. General admission and VIP admission tickets for SSMP can be purchased at SafeandSoundfest.com.
